DAY 4 – 23 Jun 09 (Tue)

The day when we headed to Tai Zhong via Gao Tie (HSR).

DSCF4503DSCF4506

Left: waiting area to board the Gao Tie. i find their train system quite confusing with too many platforms and many destinations.
Right: our eyes could hardly open.

P1010561P1010556

Left: our t0 and fro tixs over at the reserved seats cabin.
Right: the seats are really comfy

DSCF4515 DSCF4517

the traditional railway bento which we bought before boarding HSR – not that yummy in our opinion.

P1010579DSCF4533

Left: scenery from HSR – plantations mainly.
Right: arrived at Tai Zhong after an hr journey.

DSCF4547DSCF4549

Right: took free shuttle bus from the HSR station to the city area.

Left: Bing Lang Shop w/o Bing Lang Xi Shi
Right: super mini car on the road!

DSCF4562P1010611

Left: Tai Zhong is really so much less developed as what i thought.
Right: Finally reached Yi Zhong Shopping Area after another long long bus journey.

things in Tai Zhong are relatively cheaper than in Taipei. however, there are too many similar shops in Yi Zhong Shopping Area. hahhaa.. but the prob is we can still buy different things from the shop which was similar to the one we visited earlier. tsk tsk.. passed by a building where we saw how tuition centers can be a v profitable biz in TW, cos they are too many ppl who loves and need to attend tuition classes =XXX

DSCF0762 DSCF0755
Left: had macs before heading to our next destination – i ate the grilled chicken burger!
Right: quite surprised that they have curry sauce over there (tho not v fresh), but still no chilli sauce as usual. we die die have to remind ourselves to bring some over should we have the chance to visit TW again. lol

DSCF0765DSCF0767

Left: should have invested some money over here and try our luck. hee hee
Right: our next destination – Feng Jia Shopping Area. took a cab there cos there seems to be no other alt., there is no MRT at Tai Zhong and bus is just too complicated for us.

DSCF0771 DSCF0773

Right:  Zhu Xue Gao aka Bloody Rice Cake which i totally dun have the guts to try.

DSC01769P1010616

Left: taking a rest after shopping at Etude House (again).
Right: Q-ing to buy Chuan Qi drink, i love their drinks but too bad they dun have it in XMD anymore.

P1010617 bought overly-raved chicken which is grilled using charcoal

desserts before leaving Feng Jia back to HSR.

back to Taipei, we went back to drop our shopping bags and headed to the nearby Party World and sing thrgh the night. totally worn out can! i fell alslp while holding the mic halfway thrgh out the song. hahhaha

DAY 3 – 22 Jun 09 (Mon)

visited Taiwan Storyland on this day – cos we thought there is youth discount for the entrance fee, but we realised later that the discount is for Taipei Storyland not Taiwan. hurrhhhh…

DSC01367DSC01387

DSC01403the entrance tixs which includes coupons which we can use inside.

basically, the storyland just exhibits those oldies vintage stuffs in Taiwan. as for us, i think the main purpose of us gg there was photo taking.

P1010474 DSCF4445DSC01560DSC01566

Left: we are not allowed to ride on the bike actually… but we did it secretly~ sssshhhh

DSC01674DSC01667

DSC01611DSC01676

DSCF4494DSCF4493DSC01592DSC01590

ordered the above using the coupon which came with the entrance tixs.

DSCF0639 horrible dou hua in weird syrup.

DSCF0665after the tour at Storyland, we went Shinkong Mitsukoshi which was just beside for shopping.
made a call to enquire about I guess recording but too bad they don’t have any recording for the 2 weeks when we were there.

ordered local food from Li Yi branch over at TMS underground mall and requested them to be delivered to our hotel on our last day of the trip.

finally found Hua Yin street which was located quite a distance away from TMS.

DSCF0669 bought some cheap and good sushi on our way there.
Hua Yin Street is a area with shops doing wholesale, we got accessories at wholesale prices and pf & i each bought a big toy bunny at cheap price.

DSCF0670cabbed over to SOGO at dong qu for dinner. oh my.. imagine pf and me lugging our “dead” bunny around. lol

DSC01690 DSCF0671

dinner at Dian Shui Lou

DSC01695DSC01696Left: fried rice with prawns and some green peas/bean sprouts which i love
Right: Cong You Bing – super filled with cong you

DSC01692 DSCF0682
Left: Xiao Long Bao
Right: Yam Xiao Long Bao which we waited damn long for. and becos of this we got a complimentary dessert. heh heh

shopped at SOGO and they bought their longchamps. left the departmental store ard their closing time and OMG-quite a shocking scene for me to see those SA lining up along the escalator and bow to us when we’re leaving. hahhaa but i think this is somehow a v common scene in Jap?

asked around and strolled at dong qu, at last we found Dong Qu Fen Yuan.

DSCF0684DSC01698DSC01699

SUPER YUMMY! those pearls and flavored balls (they have so many flavours!) are all so QQQQQ!!!

cabbed over to the 24 hr Carrefour nearest to our hotel where we met a bunch of fools guys from homeland. lol.. anyway, wide varities of everything they have over there but we just have to control our buying cos we totally dun have the strength to lug our stuffs back to the hotel.

back to hotel where we tune in to BBT almost every night.

it’s family visit day tml and im gg to OCS to visit my bro!

Taiwan 09 – Day 2

September 24, 2009 Leave a comment

my hectic life has officially started. i can totally foresee the worsening of the dark circles v soon.

alright, we’re now moving on to Day 2 of the trip (ie. 10 more days to go…)

DAY 2 – 21 Jun 09 (Sun)

as usual, im the first to wake up for the entire trip. so ke lian right…sobsss

headed to XMD for brunch

DSCF0427

DSC01169DSC01172

ate some local food over at Xiao La Jiao. i don’t like their fish balls cos they are all stuffed with meat inside.

DSC01180DSC01185

our must-have in taiwan – San Xiong Mei Dessert.
their xue hua bing and pearl bean curd are super yummy! oh pls just look at the amount of fresh fruits toppings they have, where to find such in SG?? tell me tell meee!

shopped at Watsons cos they were having a one day only special discount. i was trying so hard to resist myself to lug all those products which can’t be found in SG and kept reminding myself that i have alr like S$250 worth of stuffs waiting to be collected frm 7-11. i thought i bought quite little but seems like i still spent the most among us. =X

DSCF4314DSC01193

Left: this pink house located in XMD caught my attention
Right: on a closer look, i realised that it is endorsed by Lee Min Ho – Gu Jun Pyo!
i was quite sua ku and have no idea that Etude House alr exist in SG before i was there so i totally went gaga when i saw the store for the first time. i couldn’t resist my temptation this time round and went in the shop to ask the SA to intro their best selling products. btw, i love their SA uniform.. so KAWAIII!

DSC01194 their testers are so clean unlike those in SG.

DSCF4311 DSC01192

Left: LOL. one of the better ones after trying out many angles
Right: Miss Ballerina also quite cute right

found our way to Bigi Bag Store – Wan Nian Building Branch which is located somewhere near our hotel. glad that they have a physical store now cos it is a kinda dreadful having to wait ard 3 mths for your bag to be shipped over if you were to order it thrgh the web. moreover, the price of their bags are the same and they offer discounts for purchases of 10 bags above as well. Bigi Bag Store AKA the “Hit 10” Store, we always buy above 10 bags to get entitled for the discount.heee heee

unloaded our barangs at the hotel and travelled to TMS to buy our HSR tixs in advance.

DSC01197 DSC01216

some highlights for the upcoming Flora Exhibition in year 2010.
there were many Filipinos q-ing for the photo.

DSCF4321DSC01208

outside TMS, the sun was so strong and i could hardly open my eyes.

DSC01222DSC01229

Left: Buying our 30% off Gao Tie tixs to and fro Tai Zhong and Gao Xiong frm the priority counter. hahha look at peifen and my standing pose.
Right: Lunch at Jap restaurant at TMS underground mall before setting off to Dan Shui.

DSC01232DSC01246

after a long journey – train from TMS to Dan Shui, tiring bus ride from Dan Shui… we finally reached Dan Shui Fisherman’s Wharf. the place is crowded with tourists and many locals.

DSCF4371DSC01258

sun setting~ supposed to be a highlight for the tourist attraction but we just dunno how to appreciate.

DSC01265DSC01261

loads of photo taking and it is a skill to capture the tip of the bridge into the shoot.

P1010412DSC01283

a really friendly family helped us took the group photo. they were really spontaneous and welcoming and even asked why we chose to visit Taiwan and recommended other attractions for us to visit blah blah blah. its really great to meet such souls when you’re in a foreign country.
ah… it makes me wonder if i will ever get to meet such outgoing and friendly stranger in our lion city. hrmmmm…

DSC01309 super cutie dog rolling on the ground.

P1010439DSC01329

tried out the food at the highly raved 40 years old Ah Gei shop.
if you’re wondering what is Ah Gei, it is that two round balls you see on the right pic. something which our tastebuds cannot appreciate again. for goodness sake, those balls are 99% starch.

DSC01339P1010440

the lover’s bridge which had lighted up after we finished our starchy dinner.

DSC01341P1010441

board the ferry back to Dan Shui Lao Jie. the ferry is much faster as compared to the bus ride which took like forever (the person at tourism counter recommended us to take the bus).

did shopping and ate our fav tempura at Dan Shui Lao Jie before taking the train back to XMD.

DSCF0526 DSCF0524

rushed to get our supper from KFC.

DSCF0529DSCF0536

DSCF0538DSCF0528

KFC egg tarts! its a MUST HAVE!!! i tried it last time and i din know that they actually have other flavours for the egg tarts as well! super yummy!!!

alright.. that wraps up Day 2.

more to come…

Taiwan 09 – Day 1

September 5, 2009 Leave a comment

since i have the saturday to spare. i think i should embark to blog on the trip which took place 2 mth plus ago – long overdued!

and so.. it was my 3rd visit to Taiwan and the longest ever – 12 days, 11 nights.

DAY 1 – 20 Jun 09 (Sat)

PF and i shared a cab to redhill to meet up with the rest and agnes’s mum send us to the airport.
had our super filling brunch at BK.

DSCF0354
great that they have water coolers inside the boarding area now, we no longer need to spend $3 on golden mineral water from Jetstar.

DSC01095DSC01101

During the 5 hrs plane ride:

DSC01124

DSC01121

DSCF0366DSCF0383

Photo013 Photo015

the flight was empty that day and it was sorta free seating for us. hahhaa.. due to H1N1, many of the passengers (including us) started to put on our masks before alighting the plane.

the weather was good and the clouds was pretty that day:

DSCF4290DSCF4283

the clouds looks like yummy mashmallows!

DSCF0387DSCF0388

Left: FLH welcomes me to Taiwan!
Right: totally explains why Changi Airport deserves to the few top airports in the world. =x

DSCF0385 DSCF0391

Left: checking out the rates over at their money changer. btw, you can only find money changers in the airport.
Right: Waiting to board Freego coach.

DSCF0392Photo019

Left: my luggage in black! the luggage alr weigh 17kg btw. =X i seriously have no idea what gold i brought.
Right: the previous coach was filled and they made us waited for the next one. i couldn’t stand the heat and the mask was suffocating.

DSC01154DSC01151

Left: freego coach – better leg space with TV compared to our flight.
Right: mask sponsored by JW’s company. i cannot stand wearing the mask, super stuffy and i felt like im breathing in carbon dioxide.

SNC00034 DSC01144

the ride was v long as usual. but luckily no angry driver this time round!

checked in to our usual hotel (cheap and good location) and headed out.

DSC01158DSC01159

Left: Queuing for the train, a culture which Sporeans should practice as well.
Right: on the train ride to Jian Tan Stn – Shilin Night Mkt for our dinner.

DSCF4299DSC01161

DSCF0404DSC01163

had our dinner at Da Tou Long (the stall where xiao zhu learn his or ah jian from for zhuan jiao yu dao ai) in Shilin Night Mkt. ordered or ah jian, zhong he jian, ru rou fan and gong wan soup.
i still v much prefer the “wet” kinda or ah jian they have in taiwan tho it is really v starchy!

DSCF0406 DSCF0410

bought our must-have dessert after our dinner. our fav ice-cream puff! the puff isn’t some normal puff it taste like po luo bao to me. yum yum~ i esp love the yam one.

crossed over to the shopping area at shilin after filling our stomachs.

for the first 2 nights, we booked 2 twin rooms and for the rest of the nights we managed to get our fav 702 room. i was quite shocked that i din managed to book 702 for the first 2 nights cos i called in at 12.15am on 1st may to book the rooms! they only accept bookings 1 mth in advance for goodness sake. but its good that we managed to get rooms on the 7th floor. =D
oh btw, flying fringe lady is not working there anymore. wahhaha!

chocolate

March 4, 2009 Leave a comment

my face is filled with chocolate right now!
im trying out this chocolate peel off mask which i just bought today.
decided to update this deserted blog since i have 20-30mins to spare before i remove my mask.
oh.. i can already feel that my pores are very tightened now…

ordered 2 VS bags some time ago.

i am not in need of any new bags actually, i got them simply because they are far too cheap chip cheap!!!
the cost + shipping of the above 2 are less than S$30 alright!
initially i thought it was quite ridiculous for me to get the weekender bag, but i went ahead and got it thinking that it will come in handy some day.
luckily i made the right choice to get the weekender bag cause’ this will definitely be useful for the tw trip during june!

oh yes… we’re visiting taiwan again! an even longer trip this time round! =D
initially i was having a bad feeling that i won’t be able to join them for this trip as i have too many datelines to meet for work and so many dates to avoid.
so glad that we managed to find some dates to compromise everyone’s work schedules.
hrm… i believe some ppl aint v happy when i apply for my 8 days work leave the other day, but who cares?! =X
such a waste that samm will be leaving for her nippon trip by june and won’t be able to join us this time round.
suet will be coming along with us during this trip instead.
oh my. i can’t wait till june alr.

prelims started on mon.
ok. quite bad. v bad infact.
tho. we still have 2 more mths to exams, i dun think we can finish covering everything by then.
haiszzz…
i detest exams. =(

ok. off to peel off my choco mask!

Taiwan Day 2

day 2 is finally here~~!!!
*image heavy*

DAY 2 – 30/9/2007 (Sun)

Rise and Shine
since i admit that i am the one who will probably take the longest to shower plus i have to put make up and all, so i volunteered to be the first one to wake up every morning.
was supposed to wake up at around 7 plus am that morning. cause’ we were told that BBT reporting time was like 9am that day. but i overslept and woke up at only around 8am i think. still, that morning was the one we all woke up earliest through out the trip. hahaha! see how much time we spent sleeping!

we took 2 to 3 hours, from the time i wake up to get ready everyday. so by the time everyone got ready to get out it was around 10 plus am already. it was like 1 hour plus past the reporting time…

cabbed over to guang qi she from our hotel…

Guang Qi She
the fans waiting over there were looking at our cab when we were alighting. they must be suspecting it’s some BBT guys inside. hahaha…

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

drawings outside the wall of the building

the feeling was some sort similar like those superstar reporting or recording. just waiting aimlessly and spotting familiar faces appearing in cabs or whichever streets.
there are quite many streets over there so meaning many ways they can come from also.
they have different groups of fans standby at different streets and when they see them coming from there they will signal the rest over and start mobbing them.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
terry walking towards.
he’s not that big size in real person.
he doesn’t have much fans also.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
i know it’s hard to tell…
thats wei lian and xiao jie from far.
wei lian acts like xiao jie’s bodyguard.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
wang zi and ao quan.
ao quan’s face is so much longer in real, as long as banana.

xiao yu parking his bike.
the girl in green is probably the bravest to approach him.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
wei yu who came out of the studio alone to 7-11 to buy drink.
we went 7-11 to get our drinks also, i bought this 100% fruit/vegetable juice which tastes really horrible!!!

overall, all of them looks much better in real. much skinny, slim and good looking.
that 6 guys came 2 by 2 tgt. xiao yu and ah wei came with their bikes. ah wei really have problems reaching the ground when he’s on the bike! hahhaaha… he reversed his bike and parked it infront of where we were standing.
ah ben, duo duo and another guy(cnt rmb who was it… li quan?) came tgt also. duo duo looks much much better in real person. ah ben looks fair and clean… hahhaa
from the distant of the pictures i think can tell that we weren’t that interested in them uh. hahhaa
we were busy snapping our own pictures while waiting…

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

decided to go fill up our stomachs than to wait under the bad weather. the weather was really bad cause the sun was blazing but it kept drizzling.
boarded a cab and told the uncle we wanna get to zhongxiao dunhua which is the nearest MRT station. got to know from the uncle that we just have to walk out from the street we were at to the main road which leads to the MRT station. hahahaa!!! so end up we got a free ride from him. =)

ZhongXiao DunHua – DingTai Fung
searched our way to DingTai Fung.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

it was really crowded that day cause’ it was a Sunday and many families were there for lunch. took our queue no while we waited under the humid weather.
was flipping through our itinerary while sitting outside the bench waiting for our no to be called and this uncle beside me was looking at my itinerary and started speaking to me in English and recommending us places to visit.
some Taiwanese are really friendly.

the crowd inside the restaurant.

the basket for us to put our bags. they even have a cover to cover our bags up.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
ordered the famous xiao long bao, mini taro bao and shared a bowl of wanton noodles or issit shui jiao with sharing mate – peifen. their xiao long bao and taro bao are really tasty!!!! cheaper and nicer than those in sg.
their service over there is also excellent!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

we showed them our youth pass and we each got a xiao long bao hp strap for free!!! yups… it’s the same one which massu got. massu love ding tai fung’s xiao long bao too!

ZhongXiao DunHua
shopped at nearby shopping malls Breeze Centre and etc.
walked really a long long way in search of this:

boarded the MRT from this station to Dan Shui.
it was quite a long way and we have to get off at TMS to change train.

other than this, we had ji pai and tempura for our dinner along the river side.

they have many game stalls there.
agnes, jw and sam were really hooked on to this.
they returned with a lang ya bang each. hahaha
sam played another game before this with water balloons. she threw the darts at the water balloon and the water from the balloon squirted onto the stall owner’s pants. damn funny!

dan shui is really a nice place to visit. i regretted not getting naraya bags from there cause i thought we will be returning to there on some other days but end up we didn’t cause dan shui is too far to travel.

took the train back. we were busy train hopping to try to get seats to sit through out the journey, but we din manage to in the end cause it was far too crowded.

Hotel
back to hotel to put all our barangs and rest a little while before heading out to XMD.

XMD
many stalls that night since it was weekend.
shopped a little and da bao-ed food back to hotel.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

had macs and tian bu la that night. some jap pork burger with sugar free green tea and no chilli. the burger taste dry… =X

we patronize the convenience store below our hotel almost everyday to get mineral water cause we don’t really dare to drink their water over there.

to be continued…
9 more days to come.

Taiwan Day 1

October 29, 2007 Leave a comment

i’m now trying to blog something which happened exactly a month ago!
this week is probably the best time for me to blog about the trip before i used up my brain cells for school stuffs in the upcoming tests.
i really don’t know how much i can recall, probably 60 – 70 percent of the whole trip i guess.
alright lets see.

DAY 1 – 29/9/2007 (Sat)

Departure
us at the departure area before boarding the flight.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

On Board
the scenery outside the window.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

the flight was very frightening!
it was very bumpy and unstable through out the 5 hours plus journey.
the pilot is either some unexperienced fellow or the plane met some turbulence during the journey.
we neither get to sleep nor sit comfortably thus we all got very impatient during the flight.
thank god we all bought travel insurance for this trip.

Arrival
finally… after almost 6 hours of flight…
we touched down Taipei SAFELY!
i felt so relieved~!

the journey was really bad cause we actually felt dizzy even after we have alighted from the plane.

went to exchange more currencies and headed to the migration hall.
we wasted almost an hour queuing at the migration hall trying to get out!
you can actually tell inefficient they are in their work.
plus we wasted another 10 mins or so queuing at the wrong queue.
cause’ when we reached the migration hall, this auntie (one of the staffs there) leaded us to the queue. so we just queued over at the queue and started chit-chatting. it was then i realized that the queue we were in are actually for locals only. so i went to double check with the auntie which leaded us there initially thinking that there must be some reason for her to lead us there. this rude auntie disgraced herself by showing how uneducated she is and it totally pissed me off.

at last, we got ourselves outta the arrival hall. the sky was already v dark then.
went to apply for our youth pass and then to the public phone to call the seller for the concert tixs. bought tixs for freego coach after everything was settled.

Freego
on board freego.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

the ride was long as expected.
we saw a very big and round moon during the journey. it was really big and round and it seems really close to us.

the journey wasn’t comfortable too. cause’ halfway through the driver was arguing with someone over the phone. he was really shouting until he 破音 and his voice turned hoarse. it was very irritating, i felt like asking him to hang up his phone and concentrate on the road but i don’t have the guts to do so.
we stopped somewhere near Taipei Main Station and alighted to change to a mini van which will send us directly to our hotel. the driver stood at the side and refused to unload our luggages for us. furthermore, we can’t really reach our luggages cause’ it was placed quite deep inside the coach. i was annoyed and asked how he expect us to unload them. he started screaming back saying ask someone else to take. i knew he was pissed over the argument but i’m even more pissed off cause i paid for my ride can! there was this sissy guy in this other group of people which is of no help at all too. in the end, the driver from the mini van came and helped us. i was fuming through out the rest of the journey to hotel.

i have a very bad impression of taiwan even before i reached hotel.
and guess what? Agnes’s sharp eyes spotted that the barbarian actually appeared in epi 12 of hei tang ma qi duo during a scene when they went to board freego. !!!! WTH

Hotel
after being caught up with so many displeasing incidents through the journey. we finally reached our hotel.
hrm… our hotel don’t really look like a hotel from the outside. it was kinda camouflaged i would say. we can’t even locate our hotel at first, and some dun even know there’s actually a hotel over there. but overall, i would say that the hotel is great for the price we paid for. location wise i think it’s better than rainbow too.

it was already 9pm when we checked-in, 2 hours behind the scheduled time.
explored our room and unpacked a little before we rushed out to meet the seller for the concert tixs.

MRT
got our easy card and board the mrt to Shilin Night Market.
since it was our first day over there, we were still not used to keeping to the right on escalator and queuing before boarding the train.

Shilin Night Market
it was very crowded as it was weekend.
went to the food area first to fill up our stomach before shopping.

our dinner: beehoon, or ah jian, hua zhi jian and some awful pearl milk tea.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

tried the ice cream puff from here. NICE!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

headed over to the shopping area after that.
the streets are extremely crowded.
we stayed and shopped till 1 am plus, many shops were still opened then.
cabbed back to our hotel after that.

crossed over a street to get to 7-11 to buy snacks and water that night. and it was later that we found out that there’s actually a 24-hr convenience store below our hotel!
hahaha

to be continued…

craving for taiwan

October 20, 2007 Leave a comment

i was reading agnes’s blog and i sudd have the urge to say how much i miss taiwan!
although i complained halfway during our trip that things were getting dull, overall taiwan is still love!

it have been almost 2 weeks since we returned but im still craving for some yummy stuffs over there:

  • 三兄妹 : sells desserts, their dou hua fen yuan and ice are thumbs up!
  • 珍珠奶茶 from 傳奇 and the store next to rainbow hotel: cheap and nice. we drank it everyday.
  • 泡芙 from 堂本家: sells puffs (direct translation into chinese), the one with ice cream inside is yum yum yum!
  • 可麗餅 from 阿諾: sells crepes, we only tried the sundae one, it’s yummy and the serving is big!

shopping wise:

  • 屈臣氏 (watsons): they have wide selection of beauty products over there which can’t be found in sg.
  • 康是美 (cosmed): a drug store which is similar to our guardian. it’s the place where i got all my masks from.
  • 夜市(s): our fav hangout at night cause’ they open till late night. 士林 is our no 1 夜市, we went there for like 4 to 5 times during our trip.

other than food and shopping, there are some other things which are worth to be missed:

  • openly and loudly commenting in English. -> hahahha!!! favourite act in taiwan pls
  • trying to imitate their 台灣腔. -> i bet peifen miss pronouncing visa in taiwan accent. lol
  • trying to figure out how flying fringe aka 小飛魚 make her fringe stay in the air and what cologne she is using to produce that thick smell through out the 10 days stay in our hotel.
  • NEWS first concert in taipei -> i wanna experience it all over again!!! it’s superb! should have went for both concerts instead.
  • last but not least those eyecandies on streets. -> hundred times better than sg ones. though they have many who spoil their image when they open their mouths. hahha!

back home

been back in Singapore for 4 days, but i’m still not used to:
– keeping to the left on the escalator (we are suppose to keep to the right in tw)
– seeing the driver seat on the right (the driver seat in tw is on the left)
and etc…
cause’ we have been so used to seeing and walking the same route for the past 11 days.
it was only on the last day when we were on board freego on our way to airport that we realized we turned to the left for the past 11 days when we walk out of our hotel. we actually neglected those shops on the right and it was also on the last day that we realized that there’s actually a cosmed so near us! tmd… totally wasted my energy to lug my heavy masks all the way back from hou shan pi. >.<

shall blog about the trip when i have the time.
that is after i catch up with school work first.
i have a resume and some job application stuffs to do.
this semester is terribly short.
i hope to plan for another overseas trip after the semester. provided that i can cover my loss for this trip first.
heee… real tough but i gotta save up.
